I love to research new things and I have found some awesome apps that really help keep me in God’s Word. Let’s face it, even if we make plans, sometimes we just get sidetracked. We are taking some time each week to focus on Getting into God’s Word. We have talked about devoting some time each day to God and how we make that time with God into a habit. We have talked about where to start reading and why starting in the Book of John is my first choice for anyone just starting to read the Bible regularly. Now that we have gone over all that, it is time to expand on our time with God. How do we expand on reading?
Where to start, where to start, where to start. That is the question that I think everyone who has picked up a Bible asks. There are so many books, and so many choices of where to start. It amazes me how we are able to find time for T.V and trips to the store to buy lots of things we really don’t need, but when it comes to spending time in God’s word, we somehow come back with saying there just is not enough time in the day to make it happen. Don’t think I am not guilty of this, because I sure am. So how can we go from excuses to habit?
