Can you believe it? Me, a homeschool blogger reviewing a movie! However, there is a very good reason for this. You see this isn’t just another fun, family movie. Princess Cut by Watchman Pictures is a Christian Film with a HUGE lesson for all kids and adults to hear. That means this family movie is really a school, life lesson hidden in a family night of fun. So let’s dig in and see what this movie is all about. Every girl, that I have known, has dreamed of falling in love. Not just the idea of love but the romance and mystery of who that person is going to be. However, most girls don’t think about the possible trouble that lurks in today’s dating world. […]

Most parents go through something similar at one time or another. If you haven’t yet, don’t worry, your time is coming. What am I talking about? I am talking about when your kid does something frustrating but also is so cute that we take a step back and kind of chuckle through gritted teeth. That is what happened here recently. Honestly, happens quite frequently with my youngest. With his ADHD being so strong he does a lot of things before asking. Over the years he has gotten better about asking, but still has a way to go. So how do we as parents deal with these cute, yet frustrating, moments? Let me share with you, our recent story. Hayden was told it was […]

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a NIV Envy and Boast are opposite sides of […]

It is hard to believe that our little squirt is now a not so little 15! He is enjoying school, playing guitar and most importantly, to him, is studying to take his driver’s permit test. That alone should make any parent realize that time is flying by. How did that happen? How did he get so old, so quick? If you ask, my kids will tell you “God let me.” Something we have talked about every since they were little. I would say something like. “How did you get so cute?” and they would reply “God let me.” One of the treasured memories I have of all my 3 kids. So besides the obvious of him studying to drive, he now fits into my husband’s […]
The kids get sick and then what? Lots of laundry, cleaning, disinfecting, snuggling, and oh yeah, what can we feed them? Every Mom goes through it and at some point, every Mom will ask it. Maybe you already know this, but for all you out there that don’t, I thought I would share some awesome advice I got when my kiddos were little. It is as simple as remembering B.R.A.T.
